SWITCH ACTION
To start the tool, shift the Forward/Reverse Lever (see Fig. 1A) either left or right
side of the tool and squeeze the switch (see Fig. 1B). Release the switch to stop tool.
FORWARD/REVERSE LEVER
The Forward/Reverse Lever (see Fig. 1A) determines direction of cutting and also
serves as a lock off button. To select the direction, RELEASE THE SWITCH, and
depress the lever toward left side or right side of the tool. The center position of the
control button locks the tool in the off position. When change the position of the
control button, making sure the switch is released.
CAUTION:
a. Always set Forward/Reverse Lever fully to the correct position. If you operate the tool with the
Forward/Reverse Lever positioned half-way, the tool may be damaged.
b. Do not use the Forward/Reverse Lever while the tool is running. The tool may be damaged.
ELECTRIC BRAKE
The electric brake function is consistently to quickly stop after the switch release.
