DISASSEMBLY
Cautions
on Disassembly
Follow the below-mentioned
unit and reassembling it; to keep its safety and excellent
performance
:
1. Be sure to reriOüe the power supply plug from the wall
outlet before starting to disassemble the unit.
2. Take cassette tape out ot the cassette holder.
3.
be removed when disasSembIing the unit. After servicing
the unit, bé Sure 'to réärrange the leads at where they
have been before disassembling.
4. Take sufficient
care on static electricity
circuits and other circuits when servicing.
REMOVAL
OF
CABINET
1. Remove five screws@ from the cabinet•two at the right,
two at the left, and one at the rear. Holding the cabinet,
shift it backwards arid take it out. (See Figure 4-1.)
REMOVAL
OF
BOTTOM
1. Turn the unit upside down, and removesix screws @
from
the bottom
plate. Shift the bottom plate backwards
to take it out. (See Figure 4-2.)
REMOVAL
OF
FRONT
1. Remove five screws C -two at the bottom of the unit, one
at the main P.W.B. and two at the side surface of the unit.
(See Figures 4-2 and 4-3.)'
2. Removesix sockets@ from the main P.W.B.(SeeFigure
4-3.)
3. Take the record/playback selectorrod @ off the mecha-
nism
block.
4. Remove two screws

Take the tape counterdrive belt @ off the tapecounter.

Check the setting of the AC voltage, selector located on the
rear panel before plugging the unit into an AC outlet. If neces-
sary, adjust the selector to correspond to the AC power volt-
age used in your area.

Turn the selector with a screwdriver until the appropriate volt-
