Intended Use
This appliance is used to puree or blend food and drinks.
For example, it is very suitable for preparing mayonnaise,
dips, sauces, soups, baby food and milkshakes.
It can also be used in hot dishes.
The appliance is intended for processing household quantities.
The appliance is intended for use in household and similar
applications. It may only be used in the manner described

in these operating instructions. You must not use the appli-
ance for commercial purposes.
Any other use is considered improper and may result in
damage to property or even personal injury.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by
improper use.
Unpacking the Appliance
1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling
material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the scope of delivery for completeness.
4. If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if
damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance.
Return it to the dealer immediately.
5. There may still be dust or production residues on the
appliance. We recommend that you clean the appliance
as described under "Cleaning".

Warnings for the Use of the Appliance
WARNING: Risk of Injury!
• The blades of the knives are sharp! Handle the knives
with the necessary care!
• The motor continues to run after switching off. Always
wait for the blades to come to a standstill.
• Ensure that the motor housing does not get wet.
Switching on a wet motor can lead to an electric shock
or short circuit.
• If you use the appliance in hot food, there is a risk of
burns from hot splashes!
