The mounting screw can be fitted in three different height posi-
tions (28a, 28b, 28c) on the camera carrier (3).
Undo the locking screw (25)to move the camera sideways.
To adjust and tilt the camera, the camera carrier (3)can be tilted
upwards and downwards by a maximum of 90 degrees in each
direction,and fixed in any position. To do this, undothe locking
screws (31)and tighten them after adjusting. The vertical position
of the cameracarrier(3)can bechecked with the aid of the spirit
level(27),and fixed to stop accidental movementby tightening
the fixing screws(32).Thisis donewith the SW4(4 mm)hex key.
5. Height adjustment
The height of the camera carrier (3) and the base board (4) (RSP
2motiononly) is adjustedby a motorizeddriveand controlledby
the cable remote (19). To move upwards and downwards at low
speed, press button A (16)or V (18). For high speed also press
button (17).
Thecolumn is equippedwith a movabledeadstop (35)that ser-
ves as a lower stop for the camera carrier carriage (2a) or an
upper stop for the base board carriage (2b) of the RSP 2motion
stand. Releasethe blockingscrew (36)prior to movingthe dead
stop and tighten it again.
6. Horizontal adjustment of the camera carrier
Turn the adjusting cranks (30)to set the camera carrier horizon-
tally. Youcan lock the position with the blocking screws (29).
7. Maintenance and care
All the moving parts are designed to operate without regular
maintenance.
If it is frequently used, grease the spindle (10) from time to time
with the greasesupplied, also when becoming more noisy.Use
only the Kaiser spindle grease (no. 000561200027).
At lengthyintervalsthe guide rods for horizontaladjustment(22)
should be coated with a very fine film of vaseline(best applied
With a cloth).
If the travelling carriages(2a, 2b) show play, it can be readjus-
ted. (Pleaseonly do this if necessary.) U se the following method.
Undo the two front fixing screws (34) on both side parts of the
travelling carriage with the SW4 (4 mm) hex key. Then tighten up
the four adjusting screws (33) on the front evenly with the SW2
(2 mm) hex key.Make sure you do not overtightenthe adjusting
screws. Then tighten up the fixing screws (34).
8. Changing fuse
The mains adapters (I Ia, 11b) are equipped with a fuse. Before
changing it, pull out the mains plug. After unscrewing the fuse
holder(12)you can replacethe fuse. use only the specifiedfuse.
