CHAIR HANDLING
• Check the condi�on of the brakes, construc�on and castors. Check the
proper assembly of the components and their adjustment.
• Before using, make sure that the chair's width matches the user, as the chair
is not equipped with width adjustment.
• The chair is designed to be used for short distances and inside only. The chair
doesn't have a shock absorber, so long-term use is not recommended.
Note! Do not use the chair if any defects or deficiencies are no�ced.
FLIP-UP FUNCTION OF ARMRESTS
• Li� the armrest upwards with a gentle movement.
• Do not use the armrest as a support while standing up. If help is required –
ask for assistance.
• Armrest extensions can be fixed/removed at any �me to make the
wheelchair easier to use.
BRAKES
To lock the castors, press the red pedals with your foot. To unlock the wheel, press
the black levers inside the red pedals with your foot.
FOOTRESTS
• The footplates should be in ver�cal posi�on when ge�ng in or out of the
chair. Do not use the footplates as a support while ge�ng in or out of the
chair due to the risk of falling over.
GETTING ONTO THE CHAIR
• It is essen�al to lock the brakes while ge�ng in or out of the chair, changing
the user's posi�on or ge�ng off.
• While changing place, the chair should be located as close as possible to the
place of transfer. The chair should touch the bed or other seat being used.
If the user cannot change his/her seat independently, transfer the user to
the chair.
