The appliance starts operating as soon as the power cord is connected to the power outlet.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than
8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years.
- Children are not allowed to play with the appliance.
- Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children.
- Never operate this appliance using an external timer or separate remote control system.
Risk of burns or injuries!
Using the Raclette results in high temperatures. Even after use there is residual heat.
- Do not move the appliance as long as it is still hot. Do not pull on the cable to move the appliance. Lift the
appliance and place it on the desired location.
- Pull the power plug after each use and:
- when the appliance is not under your direct supervision
- in case of faults during operation
- each time you clean the appliance
Always pull on the plug and not on the cord.

Do not immerse the appliance, the power cord or plug in water or any other liquids and never spray
water directly onto them. Do not clean it in the dishwasher.

Never use the appliance if you discover damage, if water has penetrated the housing or if the appliance
has dropped. If you notice damage during use, unplug it from the power supply immediately.

Check the power cord for damage before every use. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced
immediately. This may only be arranged by the manufacturer, his customer service or a similarly
qualified and authorized specialist.
