Commissioning

Air can penetrate the hydraulic system during transport or when the equipment has been left standing for
too long.
The hydraulic system should be bled before working with the drum lifter.
How to bleed the hydraulic system
Perform the following action
ü
You are not in an Ex zone.
ü
The brakes are applied.
1.
Press with both hands on the cover and slide it up-
wards
ð The hydraulic system is exposed.
2.
Grip a drum [} 61]
3.
Loosen the OIL screw on the hydraulic cylinder
4.
Lift the drum to the maximum height [} 63]
5.
Tighten the OIL screw on the hydraulic cylinder
6.
Lower the drum fully back to the ground and re-
place the cover

The hydraulic system is bled. The drum lifter may
be operated.
