Contamination possible!
Never use old and new batteries at the same time or bat-
teries of different types (e.g. zinc-carbon and alkaline batteries).
There is a risk of explosion if batteries are not inserted properly.
Replace batteries only with batteries of the same or equivalent type.
Remove the batteries when they are empty or when the remote
control will not be used for a long time.
Batteries contain chemical substances and must be disposed of pro-
perly.
Care of your ap-
pliance
Do not touch the projection surface of the
screen without clean cloth gloves. Dirty or
greasy fingers can easily leave smudges on the
screen.
Use only microfibre cloths to clean the product
(e.g. to remove dust and dirt from the housing
or the screen cloth). Do not use cleaning
agents. Do not apply pressure to the screen to
avoid damaging the screen coating.
The colour and structure of the housing may
change due to the use of natural materials.
Warranty and repair
terms
Please contact your supplier or the service cen-
tre in case of a claim under the warranty.
Should you have to return the device, please
state the defect and add a copy of the purchase
receipt or invoice.
The following warranty terms apply:
1. ESMART products have a one-year war-
ranty from the date of pur-chase. In case of
a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to
be proven by means of the sales receipt or
invoice.
2. Defects in material or workmanship will be
removed free of charge within the warranty
period.
3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the
warranty period ei-ther for the unit or for the
re-placement parts.
4. The following is excluded under the war-
ranty:
4.1. All damage which has arisen due to im-
proper treatment, e.g. nonob-servance of
the user instructions.
4.2. All damage which is due to re-pairs or tam-
pering by the customer or unauthorised
third parties.
4.3. Damage which has arisen during transport
from the manufacturer to the consumer or
during transport to the service centre.
4.4. Accessories which are subject to normal
wear and tear.
5. Liability for direct or indirect conse-quential
losses caused by the unit are excluded even if
the damage to the unit is accepted as a war-
ranty claim.
