2.1. Installation example Brose Drive aluminum housing:
Required tools:

Torx 20 wrench

8 mm allen key
•
crank puller
Unscrew the 8 mm allen key. Remove the crank using the crank puller. Remove the 5 Torx screws with a socket
(picture 1). Now the engine cover can be removed. Unplug the speed sensor (picture 3 or pocture 4).
Now connect the motor-side connector (red and black cables picture 2) of the sIMPLEk to the position of the
previously unplugged speed sensor. Pay attention to the polarity of the plug (picture 2). The speed sensor is then
connected to the second plug of the sIMPLEk (2 white cables).
