1. General remarks and safety instructions

Installed in a compatible e-bike, the sIMPLEk Pro tuning module removes the factory-
integrated speed limit of the motor support. Therefore, the operation of the sIMPLEk
Pro tuning module within the scope of the StVO is prohibited and not permitted.
Operation is only intended on private property and race tracks that are closed to
public transport. The use of an e-bike that has been modified through tuning
measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license
(Section 21 StVG) and driving without insurance (Section 6 PflVG). Tuning
measures on the e-bike can lead to a loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning
measures in the event of an accident can lead to a loss of insurance coverage and accident victim assistance
benefits. The technical nature of the e-bike may not be designed for the use of tuning measures without further
measures, which can lead to safety risks.
Before installing the tuning module, it is essential to read the entire manual thoroughly.
The instructions must be kept for the entire service life of the tuning module and handed over to the buyer if
the tuning module is sold again.
These instructions must be provided to every person who has access to and/or uses the tuning module or the
Pedelec mountain bike with an installed module.
No liability is assumed for any current or future damage (direct or indirect) due to non-compliance with these
operating instructions. Use at your own risk.
Please always wear appropriate protective clothing and a helmet.
2. Installation
Remove the battery of your e-bike before you start the installation! The module is switched in front of the original
sensor. To do this, the engine cowling usually has to be removed. Depending on the engine variant, additional tools
are required for this.
When installing in the e-bike, make sure not to damage any cables when installing the protective cover of the motor
in order to avoid possible resulting short circuits or cable crushing, which can lead to electric shock or fire, among
other things.
