Cleaning and user maintenance
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Switch the appliance off and disconnect it from the mains before cleaning or
user maintenance.
Never hold the appliance or accessories under running water or immerse them in
water or other liquids.
Clean the appliance by wiping it with a dry cloth.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads.
The accessories can be wiped with a damp cloth if necessary.
Emptying the dust container (see fig. E)
1. Hold the hand-held appliance over a dustbin and release the lock.
2. The flap will open and the dirt will fall out.
3. Close the flap again.
Cleaning the cyclone filter
1. Open dust container.
2. Turn the cyclone filter anti-clockwise and remove it from the dust container.
3. The inner part of the cyclone filter can be removed for easier cleaning.
4. Knock out the cyclone filter or wash it under running water if necessary.
5. Allow to dry completely before reinserting.
6. Replace the inner part, push the cyclone filter into the dust container and turn clockwise to tighten.
Cleaning the HEPA filter (see fig. F)
NOTE!
Only tap the HEPA filter to remove dirt - do not clean it with water. If the appliance is used regularly, replace
the HEPA filter every 6 months.
1. The HEPA filter is located on top of the main unit.
2. Grasp the cover and turn anti-clockwise to remove the HEPA filter from the main unit.
3. The HEPA filter can be separated from the cover by turning it.
4. Knock out the HEPA filter or clean it with a soft brush.
5. Reattach the HEPA filter to the cover and place it back in the main appliance.
Cleaning the motorised electric brush (see fig. G):
1. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth.
2. To remove the brush roller, release the lock on the underside and remove the brush roller.
3. Wipe the brush roller or clean it under running water if necessary. Remove hair and other dirt.
4. Allow the brush roller to dry completely.
5. Reinsert the brush roller and re-engage the locking mechanism.
