Before using for the first time
NOTE!
DANGER OF DAMAGE
If you open the packaging carelessly with a sharp knife or other pointed objects, the appliance may be damaged.
Open very carefully.

1. Remove the appliance from the packaging.
2. Remove the packaging material and any labels on the product that are used for protection during transportati-
on or advertising.
3. Check that the delivery is complete.
4. Check whether there is any apparent damage to the appliance or its accessories. If this is the case, do not use the
appliance. Contact the service address given in the Customer Service section.
5. Fully charge the battery before using it for the first time.
Mounting the wall bracket (see fig. A)
1. Before mounting, make sure that there are no electrical cables in the mounting area.
2. Attach the wall bracket to the wall near a properly installed socket using the screws provided.
3. In addition to the vacuum cleaner, 2 other accessories (e.g. 2in1 crevice nozzle and 2in1 combi brush) can be
stored here.
Charging the battery
The battery can remain on the handheld unit for charging or can be charged separately. Make sure the appliance is
switched off before charging.
Removing/inserting the battery (see fig. B)
Press and hold the lock on the top of the battery.

Pull the battery away from the handset.

Push the battery back onto the guide until it audibly clicks into place.

Charging the battery (see fig. C)
1. Insert the mains plug into the charging socket on the side of the battery.
2. Connect the mains adaptor to a functioning socket.
3. If the battery remains in the handset while charging, the charge status can be read on the display.
4. When charging separately, the charge status is indicated by the LED next to the release button. During charging,
the light flashes red; when the battery is fully charged, the LED lights up green.
Tip:
- Fully charge the battery before first use.
- Empty the battery completely before recharging for the second time to maximise its service life.
- If the vacuum cleaner is not used for a longer period of time, it is recommended to recharge the battery every 3 months.
- Disconnect the battery from the power supply when charging is complete.
