Set-up
Mains supply
Position the device where you want it.
• Insert the mains adaptor into the radio's power input.
• Then connect the mains adapter to a power socket.
Battery power supply
• Remove the lid from the battery compartment by sliding it downwards.
• Insert 4 x 1.5 V LR6 batteries (AA/UM3), taking care to respect the polarity indicated.
• Replace the lid.
Operation
• Turn the power/volume adjustment button to the right to switch on the radio. You will
hear a soft "click" when you switch the radio on.
• To switch the radio off, turn the power/volume adjustment button to the left until you
hear a soft "click".
• Adjust the volume using the power/volume button.
DAB radio mode
• Extend the telescopic aerial to improve radio reception. To improve the reception
quality, adjust its position, length and angle.
• Switch the Mode Selector to DAB+, and DAB mode will appear in the radio's display
window.
