a. Before use please ensure the bowl is cleaned and dryed thoroughly. Return the bowl to the
base and locked in place. This can be done by aligning the metal tabs with the plastic tabs on
the bowl. Turn the bowl clockwise to lock in position. To unlock turn anticlockwise as shown
(Figure D).
b. Return the extractor assembly head making sure the grooves aligned to fit over the pegs on
the stem. (Figure B&C)
c. Find a stable surface with an electrical outlet before starting making sure the cord does not
cause an obstruction.
Plug the cord into the wall socket ensur i ng the unit is in the off pos i t i on.
d. Turn the main plug point ON, you are now ready to turn on the unit. When you turn the unit
on (Figure G) please allow to run for 5 minutes for the element to heat up. Please do not let I
turn for any longer as the item w i ll overheat.
You can turn the unit off if you are not ready.
e. Measure a table spoon of sugar using the spoon supplied and pour into the centre of the
receptacle (F i gure F) ensuring you have turned the un i t on again. (Figure G)
f. Your cotton candy maker will spin the sugar to create candy floss. The candy floss can be
collected using a paper cone or stick while circulating it around the inner of the bowl.
g. Once your candy floss is being wrapped around the cone or stick you change the position
to horizontal over the dispenser and with a side to side motion collect the rest of the candy
floss. (Figure H)
h. You can now turn the unit off, and measure another portion if you require and follow the
steps from stage e.
i. You can now continue the process and make more candy floss as the unit should be
sufficient l y be warm enough to continue.
j. If you have decided you have made enough please turn off the unit and unplug the un i t from
the power socket and follow cleaning process as stated in Figure A and the care and cleaning
process.
