App installation on Smartphone or Tablet
Read the QR code reference from your mobile device's store and install the TUYA SMART App
APPLE STORE
Run the App, read and accept the privacy policy and register a new account or log in to a registered account. When registering or logging into your
account, choose the correct country or area where you live to correctly match your time zone with the distributor's clock.
Adding the food dispenser to the Tuya App
Make sure that your smartphone or tablet, with which you intend to associate the food dispenser, is connected to the same Wi-Fi network to which you
want to connect the new dispenser.
1 Switch on the dispenser and wait approx. 1 minute for start-up. The operation indicator light is BLUE. When start-up is complete, the feeder will
beep and the operation indicator light will flash RED. The device is now in pairing mode.
2 Click Add Device or + to add the new pet dispenser. If the application asks for access to the location, consent. The application will automatically
enter search mode and the symbol
on the screen and the dispenser can be added to the app by clicking on the corresponding Add button If it is not detected within a couple of min-
utes, proceed with manual pairing by going to step 6 in this chapter.
3 Associate the Wi-Fi network by referring to the chapter 'Wi-Fi Settings'.
4 The dispenser will now attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi network. connected, click Finish to complete the pairing process
If the connection fails, check the warning on the phone screen.
5 The App will display the screen with the dispenser's management interface and the live image of what was taken by its camera as shown on page 6
of this manual. The dispenser is correctly associated with the App and you can now switch to 'Meal planning'.
6 Make sure that the operation indicator light flashes RED. If not, reset the device by pressing the Configuration button on the dispenser for 5 seconds
until an acoustic signal sounds. After a few seconds, the operation indicator light will flash RED and the manual device pairing procedure can be
started.
7 Choose the Add Manuallytab and select Small Appliance from the left-hand column . Then select Pet Feeder with Camera from the right-hand col-
umn .
8 Associate the Wi-Fi network by referring to the chapter 'Wi-Fi Settings'.
9 The app will then ask you to show the food dispenser's camera a QR code containing your Wi-Fi network information. From the App Continue, then
place the QR code, visible on your phone screen, in front of the camera about 20-30 centimetres away and wait a few seconds until you hear a tone.
Then, again from the App, click on the Beep button .
10 Now wait for the device to be paired and then press Finish.
11 The App will display the screen with the dispenser management interface and the live image of what was taken by its camera as shown on page 6 of
this manual. The dispenser is correctly associated with the App and you can now switch to 'Meal programming'.
Wi-Fi Settings
The name of the Wi-Fi network will automatically appear on the app screen. Then enter the corresponding Wi-Fi password and click Next. Both 2.4GHz
and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks are supported.
Important:
a. When entering your password, please note that the system is case-sensitive.
b. Choose a Wi-Fi network with WPA or WPA2 encryption instead of WEP.
c. Ensure that MAC address filtering and wireless device isolation are disabled on the home router.
d. Take care to place the food dispenser in a place where Wi-Fi signal reception is good.
Meal planning
1 Click on the icon to open the multifunctional menu.
2 Select the icon to enter the programming area of the dispenser or to perform a manual dispensing.
3 Follow the App's instructions to proceed with meal planning.
Maintenance
• Remove the batteries and disconnect the power supply.
• Remove the food tank, stainless steel bowl and its holder from the main body of the dispenser following the installation steps in reverse order.
CAUTION: Before removing the tank, make sure it is completely empty. If not, empty the remaining kibble into an external container.
• Wash the tank, steel bowl and bowl holder with water and neutral detergent, taking care to rinse them thoroughly to remove all detergent residues.
• To prevent moisture from forming in the food tank, make sure it is perfectly dry before reassembling it and filling it with kibble.
• DO NOT WASH the main body of the dispenser with water as it contains electronic components. Clean it with a dry or slightly moistened cloth.
Reset
When you want to restore the factory settings on the dispenser, switch it on with the external power supply and wait for it to start up. Press the configu-
ration button for 5 seconds until you hear an acoustic signal. The dispenser has now been reset to the factory settings.
