9 Changing the batteries

CAUTION
Risk of explosion caused by improper replacement!
Improperly used batteries may explode and damage the
device or injure the user.

Replace batteries only with the same or an equivalent
type.
•
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
•
Never recharge batteries.
•
Do not throw batteries into fire or expose them to
excessive heat.
•
Do not short-circuit batteries.
WARNING
Danger to life due to ingestion
Small children can swallow batteries / setpoint adjusters.
•
Do not leave the device unattended when changing the
battery.
The device restarts after the battery has been changed.
Previously set values are restored.
10 Maintenance
Clean the appliance with a soft, clean, dry and lint-free cloth.
11 Factory reset
A factory reset resets the room control unit to the factory
settings. The pairing of the room control unit with the Base
Station is cancelled. For a simultaneous factory reset of several
paired room control units, a factory reset must be carried out
on the Base Station. If necessary, the pairing process must
then be carried out again for a room control unit that has been
unpaired. Information on this process can be found in the
installation instructions for the Alpha Smartware Base Station.

ware base station.
