The temperature of the discharged air is approx.
2-5°C above room temperature. This heat gain is
generated by the energy supplied to the compressor
and fan, as well as the heat released when the water
vapour condenses.
By constantly circulating the room air through the prod-
uct, the relative humidity of the air is lowered gradually,
allowing the room to dry out quickly and gently.
The water vapours in the air move easily and unhin-
dered through the air. It is therefore important to "seal"
the room as well as possible, i.e. doors and windows
must be kept closed and entry and exit from the room
must be limited as much as possible. Otherwise, the
product's drying effect will be reduced significantly.
9.2 Functions of the input buttons (Fig. 5)
3. On/off switch (I): You can use this button to switch
the product on and off.
4. "Plus/Minus" buttons (H/G): Use these two
buttons to set the desired humidity value. Press
the Plus /Minusbutton (H/G) repeatedly until
the desired value is reached or press and hold
the button (the values now run smoothly in the re-
spective direction) and release when the desired
value is reached.
5. Set the speed (D): Use this button to set the speed
at which the construction dryer operates.
Running time of the product (Fig. 5)
The total running time of the product is shown on the
LCD display (1) via the operating hours counter (E).
9.6 Starting operation (Fig. 1 - 7)
1. Only operate the product with the water tank (7)
inserted and optionally also with the drain hose (6)
supplied.
2. Attention: Please check that the sealing plug (7a)
(for using the water tank (7)) is screwed on tight-
ly. Otherwise, it can lead to unwanted water leaks
under your product
3. Place the product on a horizontal, level surface
before using it.
4. Insert the plug of the mains cable into the socket.
The product confirms this with a signal tone. The
LCD display (5) now shows the ambient humidity (J).
5. Now the dehumidification value can be set be-
tween min. 30% and max. 80% using the Plus/
Minus buttons (H/G) (the symbol for dehumidifi-
cation mode (A) flashes during this process)
6. Once you have set the desired value, wait 5 sec-
onds until the value is saved by the building dry-
er. The symbol for dehumidification mode (A) now
stops flashing and the construction dryer starts. The
ambient humidity display (J) shows the change.

9.7 Automatic defrosting (Fig. 1, 5)
At low ambient temperature, the product starts auto-
matic defrosting. In this phase, the cooling fan oper-
ates normally, only the built-in compressor switches
off. The symbol for automatic defrosting (C) and the
symbol for setting the speed (F) light up on the LCD
display (5) during this phase.
The lower the ambient temperature at which the prod-
uct is operated, the earlier or more often
automatic defrosting is activated. Once the defrosting
process is complete, the product continues to oper-
ate in the previously selected setting.
During automatic defrosting (C), the compressor is
switched off and the fan continues to run normally.
9.8 Emptying the water tank (7) (Fig. 1, 5, 6)
When the water tank (7) is completely filled with wa-
ter, this is indicated by the level indicator symbol (B)
on the LCD display (5) and "FU" also appears on the
LCD display (5). In addition, an audible signal sounds
after 5 seconds and the product stops the dehumidi-
fication process.
9. Switch the product off.
10. Open the housing door (3).
11. Remove the water tank (7) and empty it.
12. Reinsert the water tank (7).
Ensure that you place the water tank (7) in the
correct position.
13. Close the housing door (3).
14. Switch the product on again. The icon and fault er-
ror E4 are no longer displayed. If the icon and the
fault error are still shown on the LCD display (5),
remove the water tank (7) again and reinsert it.
Note:
The water tank (7) must be fully inserted into the prod-
uct, otherwise the condensation water cannot be col-
lected properly.
9.15 Important working instructions
• To protect the compressor, it does not switch on
again immediately after the product has stopped
operating or there has been an interruption in
operation (e.g. emptying the water tank (7)). The
compressor is initially in a so-called "protection
mode" for approx. 3 minutes before the compressor
switches on again.
• The temperature range in which the product can
work properly is from approx. +5°C to approx.
.
+35°C.
• We recommend maintaining a safety distance be-
tween the wall and the air inlet (4).
• Please empty the water tank (7) after each use of
the product.
• If you do not wish to use the product for an extend-
ed period, disconnect the product from the power
supply and attach the power cable to the product.
