12. Do not position the device near heat sources, e.g.
radiators, radiant heaters, etc.
13. Please do not use the appliance in the vicinity of
chemicals or acids, as these can damage the col-
lection bucket or the entire appliance.
14. Please disconnect the device from the power
supply if you do not intend to use it for a longer
period of time. Or if you want to clean the appli-
ance.
15. If you would like to use a permanent drainage
system, please ensure that the hose is not kinked
and that the water can flow through it unhindered.
In the event of very low outside temperatures
or conditions in which water could freeze, you
should refrain from permanent drainage.
16. Please protect the device from splashing water.
17. Please only use an earthed standard socket with
a 220-240V AC connection.
18. This device can be used by children from 8 years
of age as well as by persons with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities or with a lack of
experience or knowledge, if they are supervised
or if they have been trained in the safe use of
the device and understand the resultant hazards.
Children may not play with the device. Cleaning
and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children unsupervised.
19. Empty the water tank before transport to avoid
spillages.
20. If problems occur during operation of the appli-
ance, e.g. burning odour, disconnect the appli-
ance from the power supply.
21. Protect the appliance and especially the internal
parts from damage or flames/heat!
22. Please note that the refrigerant is odourless and
therefore a leak cannot be detected immediately
by an odour! If refrigerant escapes, it can ignite or
explode, especially in poorly ventilated rooms in
combination with high heat, sparks or flames! En-
sure that the exhaust air outlet is always secure
and is not obstructed by other objects!

Only use original parts for maintenance and ac-
cessories.

Always visually check the appliance for wear or
damage before use.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety reasons.
Tighten all nuts, bolts and screws to ensure that
the equipment is in safe operating condition.

Improper maintenance or failure to observe or cor-
rect a problem can become a source of danger during
operation. Only operate regularly and properly main-
tained machines. This is the only way you can be sure
that you are operating your device safely, economi-
cally and trouble-free.

Do not clean, maintain, adjust or repair the ma-
chine while it is running. Moving parts can cause
serious injuries.
Do not use petrol or other flammable solvents to clean
machine parts.
Repairs may only be carried out by specialists with the
appropriate knowledge of the appliance.
If the mains connection cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, their service department
or a similarly qualified person to avoid dangers.
Residual risks
The product has been built according to state-of-the-
art and the recognised technical safety rules. Howev-
er, individual residual risks can arise during operation.
• Health hazard due to electrical power, with the use
of improper electrical connection cables.
• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still remain.
• Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety In-
structions" and the "Intended Use" together with the
operating manual as a whole are observed.
• Avoid accidental starting of the product: the oper-
ating button may not be pressed when inserting
the plug in a socket. Use the tool attachment that
is recommended in this operating manual. This is
how to ensure that your product provides optimum
performance.
• Keep your hands away from the working area when
the product is in operation.
