Always ensure that...
• the backrests in the vehicle are locked in their upright position.
• when installing the car seat on the front passenger seat, adjust
the vehicle seat as far back as possible.
WARNING Risk of injury! Do not use any load-bearing contact

points other than those described in the user guide and marked
on the vehicle seat to secure the car seat.
1. Fold out the load leg (4) until it locks into its foremost position.
WARNING The load leg must always make direct contact with

the floor of the vehicle. If your vehicle has storage compartments
in the footwell, be sure to contact the vehicle manufacturer to
ensure the floor of the car can support the load leg.
