5. Pull on the impact shield (15) to check whether the belt buckle
(17) has locked into place correctly.
6. Press the adjustment button (16) and push the impact shield (15)
towards the child. The impact shield (15) must fit tightly at the
child's body and pelvis.
WARNING Each time the child is fastened, check that the impact

shield fits correctly.
7. Before starting the journey check that all indicators on the dis-
play panel (5) are GREEN by pressing the check button (19).
INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE AIRBAG
The car seat's airbag is located inside the impact shield and provides
additional safety in the event of an accident.
The following conditions must be met for the airbag of the car seat
to be active:
• The battery charge status is sufficient.
• The car seat is installed correctly and the impact shield
buckled in.
• All indicators on the display panel are lit up GREEN.
