The Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P) (1) folds out automatically
when taking out the car seat from the packaging. Make sure that the
Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P) facing the vehicle door is fully
folded out before starting your drive.
Before first use, the battery protection strip (2) must be removed
from the battery compartment (3) at the bottom of the car seat.
As soon as installation of the car seat is started, an acoustic warning
signal can be heard until the load leg (4) is correctly installed.
If installation is started and there sounds no audible warning signal
or the visual indicators on the display panel (5) are not lit, the batter-
ies must be replaced.
THE CORRECT POSITION IN THE VEHICLE
This is an i-Size Enhanced Child Restraint System. It is approved
according to UN Regulation No. R129/03, for use in i-Size compatible
vehicle seating positions as indicated by vehicle manufacturers in
their vehicle user manuals. If your vehicle does not have an i-Size
seating position, please check with the car compatibility list whether
the use is permitted.
