Press and hold the control button (D) for at least

4 seconds. The communication test is started,
and a radio test signal is sent. This is indicated by
the device LED (C) flashing orange.

All smoke detectors that are part of the wireless
network will respond to this signal.
•
If transmission has been successful, the device
LEDs on the smoke detectors that have received
the signal will flash orange for 5 minutes. This
confirms communication between the smoke
detectors in the wireless network.
•
If the device LED of a smoke detector does not
flash, the device is either not integrated into the
wireless network or the distance between the de-
vices is too great.
6.3
Silencing an alarm
If an alarm is triggered unintentionally, an alarm hush
function can be activated for 10 minutes on the smoke
detector.
To activate the hush function during an alarm, proceed
as follows:
Briefly press the control button (D) once (< 4 s).

The acoustic alarm is silenced. The hush function is acti-
vated for 10 minutes.
