DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
We herewith declare that VELUX solar soft shutter SSS/SSSS (BI-OA005-XX), VELUX solar roller
shutter SSL/SSLS (BI-OA005-XX) and VELUX solar awning blind MSL/MSLS (BI-OA005-XX)
− are in conformity with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU,
the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU and the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU,
− have been manufactured in accordance with the harmonised standards
EN 55014-2(2015), EN 60335-1(2012)+A11(2014), EN 60335-2-97(2015), EN 62233(2008),
EN 300220-2 v3.1.1(2017) and EN 301489-3 v2.1.1(2017) and
− have been assessed in accordance with the harmonised standard EN 50581(2012).
When one of the above-mentioned solar products is installed on a VELUX roof window in ac-
cordance with the instructions and requirements, the total system complies with the essential
requirements of the Directives 2006/42/EC, 2014/30/EU, 2014/35/EU and 2014/53/EU of the
European Parliament and Council.
The solar product also complies with the Construction Products Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011.
