battery due to frequent operation of the products.
• Fitting of the solar product on a VELUX roof window with copper covers requires installation
kit ZOZ –K00 240, which is available from your VELUX sales company.
• Radio frequency band: 868 MHz, maximum radio frequency power transmitted: < 25 mW.
• Radio frequency range: 200 m free field. Depending on building construction, the indoor range
is approx. 20 m. However, constructions with reinforced concrete, metal ceilings and plaster
walls with steel members may reduce the range.

• If batteries can be removed, product and batteries must be disposed of separately.
Maintenance
• If installed and used correctly, the product requires a minimal amount of maintenance only. It
may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. In special cases with heavy leaf fall, it may be neces-
sary to remove leaves and other debris from the side channels.
• To remove the solar product, use the installation instructions in reverse order. Replace screws
in covers to avoid leaks.
• In case of accumulation of dirt on the solar cell, this should be cleaned with water and ordi-
nary household cleaners to obtain maximum charging function. The solar cell should also be
kept free from snow and ice during the winter period.
• Before any service work or disconnection of the solar product, it must be deactivated by
pressing the button behind the end cap of the top cover twice (the motor makes a buzzing
noise three times). It can be turned on again by pressing this button once and subsequently,
within 30 seconds, pressing first the STOP key and then the UP/DOWN key of the wall switch.
This will result in a new automatic adjustment to the window height.
