Starting the Stimulation
First, position the electrodes on the desired parts of the body and
connect the electrode cables to the electrodes and the device. It
will be possible to start the stimulation by means of the key
(Figure 2), after the desired program has been selected by means of
the modification keys
an intensity of 9 V. The stimulation will be indicated by a flashing
symbol showing the type of operation. The starting procedure will
be confirmed by a signal tone.
Identifying the Electrodes
After the start of the simulation, a test of the electrodes will be carried
out initially. If no correctly positioned and connected electrodes are
identified, 'no con' will appear in the display unit (Figure 3).
If no correctly positioned electrodes have been recognized after 10
seconds, the stimulation will be stopped. This will be confirmed by
a signal tone.
However, if any modification key is operated during this period, the
test of the electrodes will be broken off and the device will begin to
stimulate with the parameters set immediately, independently of
whether the electrodes are correctly corrected or not. This will be
confirmed by a signal tone.
Setting the Intensity
You can set the desired intensity at any time by means of the
modification keys
presented in the display unit. The intensity of both channels is to be
set at the same level.
The setting range of the intensity is 2 to 15 V.
Display of the Stimulation Parameters
n the 'P' types of operation and the 'F' frequency, the program
currently running will be shown alternately with the program
number, at the upper left of the display unit. In the continuous 'C'
type of operation, only the program number will appear there.
The remaining stimulation period will be shown in the upper centre
of the display unit. However, in the 'P' types of operation and the
'F' frequency, the residual period of the currently running sequence
will be shown, rather than the remaining period of the program
currently running.
