Testing dishes for microwave cooking
Test the dishes for MW suitability before using it in the MW oven. Put the tested dish in the
MW oven together with a glass bowl filled with water and turn the oven on for half a minute
at maximum power. If the water in the glass bowl heats and the tested dish remains cold,
this dish is suitable for microwave cooking. If the tested dish is hot (Beware not to burn
your fingers!), it means that the microwaves were absorbed by the dish and this dish is not
suitable for microwave cooking.
IMPORTANT:
This test and following instructions are meant for kitchenware and cooking in the
microwave! During combination cooking, the microwave cooking takes turnes with grill
cooking. In this case, it is necessarry to choose kitchenware that is acceptable for both
cooking methods. This means, that the kitchenware for combination cooking must be
suitable for microwave cooking as well as heat-resistant for grill cooking (for example glass
or china kitchenware).
