OPERATION
BASIC OPERATION
Initial System Setup
When operating the Shuttle for the very first time after installation of the unit or
replacement of the car battery, press the Reset switch 48 with a sharp pencil or other
pointed object.
CD OPERATION
Normal Play
1. Press the POWER On/Off button © to turn on the unit.
2. Turn on the radio.
3. Select the FM band.
4. Tune to 88.3 or 88.7 MHz (the same frequency you selected on the Modulator Unit
during installation).
5. Press the DISC ( p/if) button @ to activate the CD mode. The Disc Number indicator
© will show a blinking number "1". Then "1 01" appears in the display and the unit will
begin playback.
NOTE:
In the CD mode, the Disc and Track Numbers appear in the digital display as shown
below.

6. After the last track on the last disc is played back, the optical pickup will return to the
beginning of the first track of the first disc and begin playback from that point (unless
the REPEAT function has been activated).
Pause
While the disc is playing, press the DISC ( pan) button 4) to temporarily stop playback.
The PAUSE indicator ® will light. To resume playback, press the DISC ( »/II) button @)
again.
Disc Access
1. Press the Disc Select button 40 until your desired disc number appears in the display.
The track number will also appear in the display.
2. Press the M.S. -CD up 42 or down 43 button for musical track selection.
