Care must be taken to ensure that the clamp assembly between the impact wrench and ValLink is
firmly secured to prevent loosening during impact wrench operation.
The forest measuring tape is then placed on the ground at the desired distance and lightly fixed.
The beginning of the measuring tape is pulled to the ValFast and hooked onto the ValLink as shown in
the figure below and guided over the push button of the impact wrench.
The tree is cut so far that it can be felled by the ValFast.
The correct direction of rotation of the impact wrench is then checked. The forest worker starts the
felling from the desired position by pulling the forest measuring tape. However, no more than 10 m
away from the trunk.
The forestry tape measure must not be attached to the forest worker during felling so that a quick
retreat is possible at any time without the forest worker being held by the tape measure.
It must be ensured that the forest worker has a clear view of the ValFast and the tree trunk.
The forest measuring tape must not be impeded by branches or treetops.
The ValFast may only be operated up to the maximum extension length.
Using the ValLink with the DrillFast in earth boring operations
The ValLink is the connecting element between the impact wrench and DrillFast.
Connect DrillFast and ValLink to the drilling unit, do not use force. Slide the DrillFast into the ValLink
and fix it with the eccentric lever and screw the handle into the ValLink.
The DrillFast/ValLink clamping area must be free of oil or grease.
To drill, push the drill unit into the ground until the impact wrench activates impact mode.
After 3 – 4 seconds, pull the DrillFast out of the borehole to remove the accumulated drilling material.
Then continue drilling.
When drilling, make sure you have a secure footing and a back-friendly posture. The machine can
be operated with 2 hands. If possible, work at high speed during operation, this reduces the energy
consumption and wear of the tool. Check the DrillFast for damage, freedom of movement, wear and
tear and cracks.
