General information
These operating instructions are intended for all persons involved in the following activities:
Installation, expansion, commissioning, operation, maintenance.

Safety advice
The operating instructions are part of the ValLink. Failure to follow the operating instructions and the
following safety instructions can result in damage to the device and even personal injury.
• Follow the operating instructions completely.
• The applicable documents must be taken into account and observed at all times.
• Keep the operating instructions accessible at all times.
• T he operating instructions describe the structure of the ValLink and impart knowledge about the
proper operation and maintenance.
• Observe the regulations and documentation of third-party manufacturers for third-party devices.

Intended Use
The intended application of the ValLink is in combination with a ValFast or DrillFast and the matching
Milwaukee impact wrench (see „Technical data" for types that can be used). The task of the ValLink is

the non-positive connection between the impact wrench and ValFast or DrillFast. So it can be worn as

a unit.

Furthermore, the ValLink is used for tree felling work to fix a forest measuring tape, which can be
used to control the impact wrench pushbutton from a distance of a few meters. In this way, the forest

worker can keep a safe distance for individual felling when felling.

In earth drilling work, the ValLink is the connecting element between the impact wrench and the

DrillFast.

Disregarding the safety instructions can result in serious injuries or even
death!
When working with the ValFast & ValLink, always observe the current UVV guidelines for
chainsaws and forestry work.
When using, consider the operating instructions of the ValFast and DrillFast as well as
those of the impact wrench.
If there is any damage to the ValFast, ValLink, DrillFast or Milwaukee screwdriver, the com-
bination must no longer be used.
Always make sure that the desired direction of rotation of the impact wrench is activated.
