Attachment to impact wrench
Make sure you have the correct type of impact wrench by matching the impact wrench model
designations to the ValLink model designations.
Before mounting, the three red-marked Allen screws of the Milwaukee screwdriver must be loosened.
Completely unscrew the marked screws.
Apply a drop of screw lock (Loctite) to the three screw heads to reliably prevent the screws from
loosening during operation.
Then slide the ValLink onto the impact wrench and tighten the ValLink with the three screws you
removed.

Operation
Using the ValLink with the forestry tape when felling trees
The tree must be prepared according to current safety felling techniques. The ValFast is inserted into
the tree according to the specifications in the instructions. When applying it is particularly important
to ensure that the ValFast is sufficiently anchored in the tree. All nubs of the spindle wedge must be
firmly seated in the wood, otherwise the ValFast may be pushed out of the cut and the tree may tip
over unintentionally.
The impact wrench is to be fixed to the ValFast using the clamping device. The ValLink must be facing
the ground, so the impact wrench must be placed upside down on the ValFast. This prevents the
forest tape measure from slipping off the impact wrench's push button due to gravity.
Additionally secure the tree with a conventional wedge.
Attention: Max. torque 9.8 Nm
Adjust the clamp to the appropriate axial position to
ensure a secure grip on the tube along the full axial
length of the clamp.
The clamping tube on the ValFast must be free of
damage or deformation and free of oil and grease.
