Description - Self-priming, lateral liquid ring electric-pump, can operate
in both directions of rotation. The body, the impeller, the cover and the
connectors of the pump are wholly made of alloy bronze Delta B, while
the driving shaft is of Stainless steel AISI 316. The corrosion-proof
gaskets are a perfect seal against the leakage of transferred fluids. The
pump is axially connected to a continuoslyrated electric motor. It is also
available with by-pass, in order to adjust the capacity at will.
Operating
features - These pumps can be used to transfer food fluids
(such as: water, wine, must, beer, vinegar, etc.) and chemical solutions if
compatible with bronze Delta B (as: sea water, diesel oil, not ugly viscous
oil), without solid impurities and temperature
+40 co in normal operation (and up to 70 co for short periods). In order
to eliminate possible impurities, a filter can be used on the suction pipe.
Start the pump: priming requires only a few seconds. if the pump does
not prime after 10/15 seconds, switch-off the motor and check if the suc-
tion hose has any leakage of air, maybe due to holes or to poor tighten-
ing of the collar or of the hose-clamps.

tions. When pumping is completed, stop the pump, empty the hoses of
the remaining liquids and flush out to clean it (see MAINTENANCE).
