Attention: Always pull out the mains plug before repair and maintenance work.
Inspection of the electrical system:
Check the power cable regularly for damage. Remove the housing regularly and
check the internal wiring for any possible defective lines, loose attachments and
discolouring. Damaged cables must be replaced by new ones.
In case of commercial use, a BGVA3 test must be conducted annually according to
the professional association. Contact the HEYLO Service for any questions.
Keep the filter clean:
Always run the device with a clean air filter. When using a foam filter, that can be
cleaned, it must be lightly vacuumed or washed out with water and a mild
detergent and dried before re-using. If using folded filter paper, the dirty filter must
be disposed of and replaced by a new one.
Clean housing:
Clean the housing with a mild detergent and water. Reinstate the original gloss
with a cleaner and polish.
You can obtain a suitable cleaner from HEYLO.
Keep the cooling coil clean:
Dirty cooling coils cannot remove the water efficiently. They must be checked
regularly particularly when the device is being run in dusty surroundings.
The coils must be dry for this purpose. They must then be cleaned from both sides
of the coil with direct compressed air. Do NOT hold the compressed air to close to
the coil, since the ribs could then press together.
If sticky or oily dirt remains, remove it with water. Rinse the coil with a spray bottle
filled with water and some detergent. Do NOT wash off the cooling coil with a hose
or a pressure washing device and make sure that no water penetrates the
electrical part.
Remove stubborn dirt with a cooling coil cleaner that you can obtain from HEYLO.
Follow the exact instructions on the product.
When cleaning the coils, please ensure that the discharge bowl, discharge hose
and filter cover are free of dirt.
Optional condensation pump:
Check and clean the pump system regularly (at least once a year) to maintain
efficient operation. Clean the collection tub. Clean the discharge hose with
compressed air.
Pump hose:
Check regularly that the pump hose is not buckled and is in perfect condition.
