CAUTION: Check the construction dryer for correct operation every day. Protect floor against
potentially draining water. Empty the condensate tank in regular intervals.
Putting the unit out of service
To switch the unit off, set the operating switch (1) on the rear side of the unit to Off or 0. All displays
will go off.

Read the operating hour meter after finishing the drying process and document the count, if
and when necessary.

Read the kW/h meter after finishing the drying process and document the count, if and when
necessary.

Subsequently the mains plug can be removed, and the unit can be transported away.

(5) Maintenance / repair

CAUTION: Remove the mains plug before maintenance and repair.
 Inspection of the electric system:
Check the power cord for damage in regular intervals. Remove the housing in regular intervals and
check the internal wiring for potential defective cables, loose fasteners and discoloration. Replace
damaged cables by new ones.
In case of commercial operation, the BGVA3 check has to be carried out every year according to
the occupational health and safety agency. In case of questions, please get in touch with HEYLO
Service Department.

Keep the filter clean:
Always operate the unit with a clean air filter. When using a foam filer, which can be cleaned, lightly
vacuum ist or wash with water and a mild detergent and dry before using again. When using a
folded paper filter, dispose of the dirty filter and place a new paper filter.
 Clean housing:
Clean the housing with a mild detergent and water. Use a cleaner and polish to restore the original
glossiness.
Suitable cleaners can be obtained from HEYLO.
 Keep the cooling coil clean:
Dirty cooling coils cannot remove the water efficiently. They have to be checked regularly, in
particular in dusty environments.
The coils have to be dry at all times. They have to be cleaned from both sides of the coil by direct
compressed air. Do not hold the compressed air too close to the coil as otherwise the rips may be
pressed together.
If sticky or oil dirt remains, this has to be removed wet. Use a spray bottle with a bit of detergent to
rinse the coil with water. Do not wash the cooling coil with a hose or a pressure wash unit, and
make sure that no water can penetrate the electric parts.
Remove hardened dirt by using a cooling coil cleaner which you can obtain from HEYLO. Follow
the instructions on the product precisely.
When cleaning the coils, please make sure that the draining tray, draining hose and filter cover are
free from dirt.
