ATTENTION: Verify that the operating noise of blower and compressor is
correct prior to leaving the unit unattended.
CAUTION: Check the dehumidifier daily for correct operation. Protect floors
against possibly discharged water. Empty the condensate container on a
regular base.
5. Discontinue unit operation
In order to switch the unit off, turn the operating switch (4) on the operating
panel to OFF respectively O.
If the unit switched off for any reason, wait five minutes before restarting.
This avoids damage to the compressor.
ATTENTION: Prior to moving the unit, the water must be drained from the
pump. For this purpose, switch the unit to OFF for 10 minutes, so that the water
flows from the cooling coil into the pump. Next, press the drain pushbutton (3).
Read out the operating hour counter after drying completion and document the
reading as needed.
Read out the KW/h counter after drying completion and document reading as
needed.
Next, the power plug can be pulled and the unit can be transported.

6. Maintenance / repair

Attention: Always pull the power plug prior to any maintenance and repair work.
Inspection of the electrical system:
Check the power cable for damage on a regular base. Remove the housing on a
regular base and check the internal wiring for possibly defective cables, loose
connections and discolorations. Damaged cables are to be replaced with new
cables.
Pump hose:
Check the pump hose on a regular base for bends / kinks and flawless condition.
Keep filters clean:
Always operate the unit with a clean air filter. If a foam filter is used, which can be
cleaned, then gently vacuum the filter or clean it with water and a mild cleaning
agent and dry it prior to renewed use. If a folded paper filter is used, dispose of the
contaminated filter and insert a new one.
