All locally legislated safety rules with regard to
operation and maintenance shall be respected at all times.
The tool and its

the tool and its accessories must be agreed upon by tie

Before any adjustment operation e.g. changing of acces-
sories —dismnnect the bol from the air line.
Exposure b vibrations may be harmful to hands and arms.
The machine is &signed for a working pressure (e) of 6—7bar
600-ioo kPa/87-102 psi(g).
The hose size should be 6.3 mm (1/4").
The cornpressed air should be dry and clean. Installation of
Atlas Copco filter is recommended.
Bbw out the hose before connecting.
Power control
The striking power of tie riveting hammer can be steplessly controlled
by means of tie agustable stop (I O).Maximum power is obtainedwhen
the adjusting is screwed out as far as it goes.
Dismantling and reassembly
The riveting hammer is of a simple design and has only a few parts.
This makes for easy dismanding and reassembly, but attention should
nevertheless be paid to the following instructions:

(2) and the O'linder (15), tre pin (21) must be removed.
3 When reassemblingtie said threadedconnection, the tightening
torq.je must be 250 Nm (25 kpm).
Important Hobs and drilled passagesfor the pin (21) are made
according to a vemier scale. Ifthe stipulated torque, 250
Nm(185lbf. ft2), h asbeen applied butnoholeforthe
ph is uncovered, the back head must not be unscrewed
but must be tightened further until a hole is uncovered
and the pin can be pressed into it.
Beforeassemblyit should be checkedthat all main valvepartsare

free from burrs and well deaned.

Lubrication
Ttw bol should be oiled once per shift. The oil, which should be applied
inanænount of0.5—1 cm3 (5drops), canbedropped i ntotheairhose.
When the tool is in mntinuous service, installation of an Atlas Copco
oil-fog lubricator in the compressed air line is recommended.
Important An excessiveamountof oil will prevent the main valve
from functioning. It is therefore vitally important to lubricate
in strict accordance
Use lubricants of good quality. The oils mentioned in the chart are
examples of lubricants which are recommen&d.
Overhaul
If the tool is used every day. it should be overhauled and cleaned once
every six months.
The useofother han genuine Adas Copco replacement parts
may result in ±creased tool performance and increased
maintenance and may, at the company option. invalidate all
warranjes.
Démontage et remontage
Le marteau riveur est d'une conception simple ; il ne comporte que
quelques éléments faciles å démonter et å remonter. Respecter toute-
fois les instructions ci-aprås •
I Ie ±montage et Ie montage, Ie marteau doit toujours étre fixé
par le cylindre (15), ce qui facilite Ia pose et Iadépose
tout le corps valves.
Pour démonter le raccord fileté ente Ia poignée (2)et Iecylincre (15),

retirer d'abord la goupille (21).
3 Pour le démontage de ce raccord, Ie couple de serrage
250 Nm (25 n'kgf).
Important Les et Ies dégagements forés destinés å recevoir
Ia goupille (21) sont réalisés d'aprås une échelle de
vemier. Si Ie couple
atteint, mais augun orifice n'apparan pour recevoir la
got*lle, il ne faudra pas &sserrer la poignée, mais la
serrer &vantage jusqu'å ce qu'un orifice sbit dégagé et

4 Vérifier au remontage que les piåces du corps de valves sont
exemptes de bavures et bien nettoyées.
Lubrifier toutes bs piåces avec une faible quantité d'huile avant le

remontage.
Lubrification
Lors%JeIe marteau est en service, il devrait åtre lubrifié une fois par
équipe detravail.Verser1cm3(5gouttes) e huiledansIeflexible å air.
En cas de fonctionnement continu, il est recommandé d'installer un
diffuseur automatiqtE d'huile Adas-Copco dans Ia conduite d'air com-
primé est recommanæe.
