7. Charging the batt ery
 Switch off the appliance before charging.
 Charge your vacuum cleaner using the mains power adapter (8) supplied (see Fig. 3–5).
The charging time is approx 4–5 hours.
When the appliance is switched on, the display (17) shows the current battery charge status:
 Always charge the battery if the vacuum power decreases significantly.
The appliance cannot be used during the charging process.
 After charging, remove the power adapter plug from the socket again.
