Cleaning and Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the appliance components
To ensure that the appliance retains its appearance
and remains fully functional, take good care of it!
Always keep all parts of the appliance clean and remove any soiling imme-
diately, as described in the following sections
and in compliance with all previous instructions!
We recommend regular basic cleaning at least every 2 months.
General instructions for cleaning the appliance surfaces
• Use a soft cloth moistened with lukewarm water
and a mild household cleaner or mild soapy water for cleaning.
• Clean all surfaces until all dirt has been completely removed.
• Then dry the appliance thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Stainless steel / metal surfaces
• Also clean these as described above
or
• use a commercially available non-abrasive
stainless steel cleaning agent, if applicable in the grinding direction.
Make sure that the stainless steel cleaner does not come
into contact with painted surfaces or operating elements!
• Then dry the appliance thoroughly
• For care, you can apply a thin layer of stainless steel care product
from a specialist retailer using a soft cloth.
