Changing the lower cutter
Switch off the appliance.
To remove the cutter, open the cover. Disengage the upper cutter and set the needle(s) in the highest position. Use the large screwdriver to
loosen the retaining screw (A) on the lower cutter. Remove the screw and the lower cutter.
To fit the new cutter, insert a new lower cutter into the recess provided and tighten the retaining screw. Hook in the upper cutter and close the
cover.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING
These machines are designed to be easy to operate and do not require complicated adjustments. Sewing problems of the type described below
may occur due to minor setting and operating errors. They can be easily corrected by following the instructions below.
