Cleaning and maintenance
The appliance requires regular cleaning to ensure trouble-free operation:
Keep the appliance clean. Switch it off for cleaning or maintenance work, remove
the plug from the socket and allow the appliance to cool down beforehand.
Clean the outside of the appliance regularly with a dry or very slightly damp cloth.
Do not use harsh soaps, sprays, cleaning or scouring agents, wax, polishing
agents or other chemical solutions. You can remove dust from the back of the
appliance with a feather duster.
Exterior cleaning
If you do not intend to use the fan heater for an extended period of time, it is
recommended that you store it (preferably in its original packaging) in a cool, dry
place after the appliance has been cleaned.
Cleaning the dust filter

Make sure that the fan heater is dry before reconnecting it to the power supply.
•
Make sure that the appliance has cooled down completely before cleaning it.
•
Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the appliance and unplug it.
•
Use a damp cloth (not very wet) to wipe the outside of the appliance and
remove dust and dirt. Brush the ventilation opening with a soft brush.
•
Do not wipe with thinner, toluene, acidic cleaning agents, lamp oil, alcohol and
other chemical substances to avoid discolouration or damage.

Do not rinse the appliance directly with water.
•
Move the dust filter carefully to turn it round at a certain angle:

The dust filter is magnetically attached to the appliance.
•
Remove the dust filter upwards.
•
Rinse the air filter with water, clean the corners with a brush and dry off or wipe
off any excess water.
•
Reassemble the dust filter and ensure that it is properly installed.
