Replacing the pull rope
If the pull rope shows clear signs of wear, damage or a reduction in diameter of less than half of the
original diameter, please replace the rope. To do this, follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Set resistance level 8 and disconnect the power supply to the appliance.
Step 2:
Loosen the connection of a handle on one side and remove the handle (40), the cover
(27), the screws (66), the pull rope stop (19) and the limit ball (28).

Step 3:
Now connect the old and new pull cords as follows:
a. As shown in Figure 1 on the next page, pull out the inner core of the pull rope by 3-4 cm.
b. Cut off the pulled out inner core as shown in Figure 2.
c. As shown in Figure 3, pull two strands of fine fibres from the braided cover of the pull rope.
d. As shown in Figure 4, join these two strands of thin thread by tying two or three flat knots.
The knot should not be larger than the original rope diameter.
