First pour petrol into the

fuel mixing bottle (33) up
PETROL
to the line marked
"PETROL". Then pour in oil
until you reach the second mark ("OIL")
on the scale at the top right.
Close the container and shake it.
3. Remove the filler cap (5) and fill the
fuel mixture into the petrol tank (4).
Wipe spilled fuel from around the filler
opening and replace the filler cap.
Putting on the double shoul-
der strap
Always wear the double
shoulder strap when work-
ing with the device. Always switch
off the device before taking off the
double shoulder strap. There is a
risk of accidents.
The double shoulder strap is
equipped with a quick re-
lease device. Opening the lock (37,
Fig.
) releases the device quickly
from the double shoulder strap in a
dangerous situation.

2. Adjust the length of the strap so that
the snap hook is approximately 10 cm
below your hip.
3. Attach the snap hook to the eyelet (20)
on the shaft tube of the device.
Unhook the device before starting
the engine and fasten it to the dou-
ble shoulder strap once the engine
is running.
Place the body protection (38) on
your hip between your body and
the device.
Checking the charge level of
the battery
The battery charge level indicator on the
battery (34, Fig.

level of the battery.
The charge level of the battery is indicated
by illumination of the corresponding LED
light. Press the button for the charge level
indicator on the battery.
Red-amber-green => battery fully charged
Red-amber => battery approx. half charged
Red => battery needs to be charged
Charging the battery
If warm, allow the battery to cool
before charging.
Charge the battery (34, Fig.
only the red LED on the level indica-
tor is illuminated.

1. Remove the battery (34) from the devi-
ce.
2. Slide the battery (34) into the charging
slot of the charger (35).
3. Plug the charger (35) into an outlet.
4. After charging is complete, a green
light will be illuminated permanently.
You can now disconnect the charger
(35) from the mains supply.
