Put the metal rod in the specified angle
transmission hole.

Turn the center shaft and push the metal rod
until it engages the inner ring-nut hole, to block
rotation.

Put the inner cup onto the center shaft.
5.
Put the brush cutter blade on top of the inner cup.
Make sure the blade is in the center.
6.
Put the outer cup above the blade.
7.
Put the locknut above the outer cup.
8.
Tighten the locknut counter-clockwise which is
the opposite direction of rotation with a wrench.
Make sure that you can not turn the locknut by hand.
You must replace the locknut after it has been put on
approximately 20 times.

REMOVE THE BRUSH CUTTER BLADE

1.
Put the metal rod in the specified angle

Turn the blade and push the metal rod until it
engages the inner ring-nut hole, to block rotation.
3.
Loosen the locknut clockwise which is the
direction of rotation and remove it.
4.
Remove the outer cup.
5.
Remove the plate and brush cutter blade.

Remove the inner cup.

ASSEMBLE THE TRIMMER HEAD

1.
Put the metal rod in the specified angle
transmission hole.
2.
Turn the center shaft and push the metal rod
until it engages the inner ring-nut hole, to block
rotation.
3.
Assemble the trimmer head.
4.
Turn the trimmer head counter-clockwise to
tighten it.
You must install the cut-off blade when you use the
trimmer head.

SHARPEN THE BRUSH CUTTER BLADE

Stop the machine and remove the battery pack(s).
Use protective gloves.

Always discard a blade that is damaged. Do not try
to make a bent or twisted blade straight and use it
again.
We recommend that a service center which has
electric sharpener does the high level or important
sharpening work.
• Sharpen all edges equally to keep the balance.
• Use a single-cut flat file.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
7.1
MOVE THE MACHINE
When you move the machine, you must:
• Wear gloves.
• Stop the machine.
• Remove the battery pack.
• Assemble the blade guard.
7.2
STORE THE MACHINE
• Remove the battery pack from the machine and
charge it.
• Make sure that children cannot come near the
machine.
• Keep the machine away from corrosive agents such
as garden chemicals and de-icing salts.
• Secure the machine during transportation to prevent
damage or injury. Clean and examine the machine
for any damage.
