Hose drainage
The Comedes ITR 90 can be operated using a drainage hose (Ø11.0mm). Mount the drainage
hose to the drainage connection of the dehumidifier.
Now lay the drainage hose to a suitable drain and make sure that the hose remains there in
the intended position.
Always assemble and lay the drainage hose before starting up the machine.
:
Attention
Make sure that the hose is firmly and securely mounted on the drainage connection.
•
Make sure that the hose remains in the intended position.
•
Make sure that the drainage hose is not kinked or clogged. Check this regularly.
•
The device must be switched off and disconnected from the mains after each use and before
attaching or removing accessories by pulling the mains plug out of the grounded socket after
switching off. Allow the device to cool down to room temperature before cleaning and/or
storing it.
Automatic defrost
1) To ensure safe operation of the device, the dehumidifier switches itself off automatically at
an ambient temperature <5°C and >38°C.
2) If the compressor has been working for more than 30 minutes and the temperature sensor
detects a temperature ≤-1°C (for more than 10 seconds), the solenoid valve switches and
defrosting starts. The fan and compressor continue to run and the "Defrost" LED lights up.
Defrosting is stopped after 5 minutes, or when the temperature sensor detects a temperature
above 8°C.
Note: During the defrosting process, the indicator light is lit and goes out when the defrosting
process is finished.
