Congratulations to your new AQUILA by Staufenbiel
The AQUILA is a full-composite high-performance model which was manufactured in shell construc-
tion. This sailplane is a real allrounder .
The construction of the model and the detailed solutions related subject to a certain taste depen-
dency. Therefore, the solutions to these instructions are to be understood as a suggestion. There
are certainly other options and approaches. In some alternatives is therefore received during the
building specifications, but does not shown on the pictures.

PREFACE

THE FUSELAGE

Use sandpaper to lightly sand
the bottom of the controlhorn
where it fits into the control
surface.
The control horn can be in-
stelled inside covered by the
rudder.
Mix a small amount of Pattex
Stabilit (If not available use
15-minute epoxy). Use a too-
thpick to apply epoxy in the
slot for the control horn. Fit the
control horn in the rudder and
check that the controlhorn fits
tight after the epoxy has cured.
Use am 1,2mm Pushrod with
75mm length to assemble the
rudder linkage. Bend the last
8mm a shown in the fotos.
Mark the first 40mm.
