6.4 Setting the position of the smartphone and the counterweight

You can use the counterweight to balance out larger and heavier smartphones. Fix your smartphone in
place so that its primary camera is on the left, facing forwards and the camera display is pointing towards
you.
• Balance out your smartphone by sliding it inwards or outwards in the holder until you have the right
position.
• If your smartphone is too heavy to balance out just by repositioning as described above, please use the
counterweight.
• Unscrew the cover.
• Take the counterweight out of the packaging and fix the counterweight in place.
• Use the cover to secure the counterweight by screwing the cover back on.
Note
To ensure that the gimbal can function properly, always balance out your phone when
using it for the first time or after making any changes to the position, weight or size.
Note
Each time you use it, ensure that the camera is secure.

6.4 Switching on and off

Switching on: Hold your phone horizontally with the camera pointing in the right direction. Now press and
hold the function button until the green Bluetooth LED flashes 2x.
Switching off: Press and hold the function button until the gimbal switches off. If the battery doesn't have
enough charge, the green LED flashes 3 times in succession every 5 seconds. If this happens, switch off
the gimbal promptly and then either recharge the battery or insert a new battery.
