1 - DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Description
1Control opening sensors are electronic Bluetooth devices that detect a magnetic field to
establish information about the opening status of a door or gate.
You need a 1Control LINK device to detect the status of the opening sensors.
Operating distance
The maximum distance between an opening sensor and a 1Control LINK device varies
depending on environmental conditions and is typically between 10 and 15 meters.
Reinforced concrete walls or metal doors can weaken or block the signal of the opening
sensors.
Operating conditions
The 1Control door opening sensor is not weatherproof and should be kept indoors in a
dry place. The operating temperature is between -20°C and +50°C.
The 1Control gate and garage opening sensor is weatherproof and rainproof, it can be
installed outdoors. The operating temperature is between -20°C and +50°C.
Security
1Control opening sensors are protected by an unchangeable 8-digit numeric PIN code
provided in the package.
The PIN code must be stored and kept secret. Holders of the PIN code are considered
administrators of the device.
Power supply
The 1Control opening sensors are powered by a CR2032 lithium battery already inserted
in the device.
The battery is replaceable and not rechargeable. To replace the battery of the door
sensor, slide off the bottom of the larger component. To replace the battery of the gate
and garage sensor, unscrew the 4 screws on the back of the larger component. You can
check the battery charge status via the app.
App
The "1Control" app is free and can be downloaded from the iPhone and Android stores.
It is compatible with the following systems:
- iPhone 6 or higher smartphone with iOS 16 or higher
- Android smartphone with 5.1 system or higher and Bluetooth LE 4
The "1Control" app can manage and control multiple 1Control devices at the same time

Electromagnetic interference can compromise the performance of any wireless device,
including 1Control opening sensors.
Keep the instructions
Please keep the PIN card and the instructions contained in the package.
3 - SAFE USE
CAUTION: Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in fire, electric shock,
injury, or damage to the 1Control sensors or other property. Read all safety instructions
before using to the 1Control sensors.
Handle sensors with care. They are made of plastic and contains delicate electronic
components. 1Control sensors or their batteries may be damaged if dropped, incinerated,
punctured or broken, or if they come into contact with liquids. If you believe your sensor
or its battery has been damaged, stop using it as it may cause overheating or injury to
the user.
To avoid damage that could cause overheating, fire and injury, 1Control sensors should
only be repaired by a trained technician. Batteries must be recycled or disposed of
