9. When the brewing process is finished and the water tank is empty, it is normal that some
ground coffee still remains in the filter. Wait a few minutes for the ground coffee to finish
filtering completely and fall into the carafe before removing the filter.
10. Once the coffee grounds have cooled down, open the top cover, and carefully remove the
filter. To do this, first hold the filter basket by the handles and remove it from the appliance.
11. Discard the coffee grounds and the used filter (if paper).
Warning: the coffee machine reaches very high temperatures during the brewing process. Be
extremely careful when handling it.
12. The heating base will keep the carafe warm while the appliance is on.
13. Switch off the appliance when the carafe is empty or when you are not going to use the keep
warm function. The appliance will automatically switch off after keeping the temperature
of the carafe for 40 minutes.
14. If you wish to prepare two or more carafes of coffee, it is recommended to let the machine
cool down for 10 minutes between each brewing cycle.
NOTE: the filter should also be rinsed after each use.
To prevent coffee from overflowing during the brewing process:
- Make sure that the filter is correctly positioned in the filter basket.
- Check that the carafe is correctly positioned on the base of the machine to ensure that the
anti-drip function is activated normally.
- If you use a paper filter, make sure to place it in the filter basket without folding or creasing
it.
After the brewing process is finished, some ground coffee may still remain in the filter:
Let the ground coffee finish filtering completely and fall into the carafe before removing

the filter.
- Do not move the appliance while it is in operation.
Preparation of "Normal" coffee
1. Press the power icon
indicating that the brewing process has started.
NOTE: the appliance will automatically switch off after keeping the temperature of the carafe
for 40 minutes.
NOTE: if the LED indicator light flashes, the machine is brewing coffee; if it remains steady, the
Keep Warm function has been activated.
2. Press to pause or stop the brewing process.
