Adjust the trimmer unit to an applicable angle.

Release the angle adjustment locking button. Make
sure that it clicks back into place.

Push the handle rotation latch to release it.

Turn the handle until the latch clicks back into place.

4.6 To use the plant protection bar

● Fold down the plant protection bar. (Figure 9)

4.7 To attach the battery

Warning! Make sure that the power switch is not
pushed when the battery is attached.
● Push the battery into the battery holder. Make sure that
the battery clicks into place.
Caution! Do not force the battery into the battery
holder.

4.8 To remove the battery

● Push and hold the lock button on the battery and remove
it from the battery holder.

4.9 To operate the product

Hold the product tightly with both hands.

Push and hold the safety switch.

Push and hold the the power switch to start the
product.

Tilt the product at an angle of 30°.

Sweep the product slowly from right to left to trim the
grass.
Note! Trim long grass in steps from top to bottom.

Release the power switch to turn off the product.

Maintenance

Warning! Remove the battery before you do any work
on the product.

To clean the product

Clean the product regularly.

Remove the battery from the product.

Remove dirt and debris from the product with a soft
brush.

Clean the product with a moist cloth and a mild
detergent.

Storage

Remove the battery from the product.

Store the product in a dry and frost-free place
protected from direct sunlight.
Caution! Do not put the product down on its trimmer
guard to avoid deformation of the trimmer guard.

Disposal

● Make sure that you follow local regulations when you
discard the product. Do not burn the product.
