8 Cleaning and care

The housing of the RIDA
cloth moistened with water or alcohol. Normal agents for wipe disinfection, e.g. isopropyl alcohol or
ethanol, can also be used on all accessible surfaces.
Whenever the RIDA®QUICK SCAN II needs to be sent back to the factory,
e.g. in case of repairs or for maintenance purposes, please make sure that
the instrument is cleaned and disinfected – if necessary.

The RIDA QUICK SCAN II must only be used for the intended purpose as specified in these
instructions.
Servicing and repairs must only be carried out by authorized technicians or the manufacturer's
Customer Service. Only replacement parts and accessory components that are authorized by the
manufacturer may be used.
Check the mains unit for damage before each use of the RIDA
must be replaced immediately in case of defects such as damaged insulation, crushing or obvious
kinks.
