7.3 Preparing and initiating a measurement

In principle, follow the procedure described in Section 4.7.
Error messages may also occur during the measurement procedure. The possible error codes are
listed in Annex 1.
If there is a sample in the drawer, check that it is correctly inserted.
There is no possibility for the user to perform maintenance on components
of the RIDA
If the error message recurs when the measurement is repeated, please note the
error message displayed and contact your local distributor or our Technical
Service (see page 3).

7.4 Printing and exporting the Measurement Result

The measurement obtained can first be converted into a PDF results file. To do this, select the sub-
menu "Results" in the main menu and proceed as described in Section 4.8.
The backup of all of the saved measurements is described in Section 4.6. On the other hand,
individual measurements can be converted into a PDF results file via the sub-menu "Results".
After a backup, the PDF results files generated are located in the "measurements" directory of the
connected USB flash drive, or can be accessed via LAN in the directory
"\\LFTXXXXXX\share\measurements" on the reader (LFTXXXXXX is the serial number of the
device).
